For those of you who are wondering what has been going on with Arts in Medicine for the past year, here is a summary of events:
We recently lost one of our board members, Kathy Jennings. Kathy was a beautiful soul, great dancer and teacher and most of all, a dear friend. We will greatly miss her great smile, her wonderful Continuum classes, and her presence.

Galaxy Arts, a new venue for classes, workshops an Air Bnb and Gallery space is soon to open at 105 West Main St. in Burnsville, NC. We will have Arts in Medicine classes and workshops as well as events at the Gallery. Opening date is September 3rd! Come and celebrate with us from 7:00-9:00pm.

Galaxy Arts is an activity space where artists of all kinds invite you directly into the power of their work.Here, painters, writers, poets, singers, musicians, weavers, potters, photographers, printmakers, quilters, puppeteers, mimes, dancers, storytellers, and drummers offer you an exciting schedule of activities.

In our large Galaxy Art space in a historic building, located in downtown Burnsville, you can choose among classes, poetry readings, talks, demonstrations, displays,  performances, concerts, drum circles, ceremonies, presentations, storytelling.  All of these activities  are open to everyone, and you can find the details at our website coming soon!

Join Billy Zanski, owner of Skinny Beats Drums in Asheville, will offer a class every Saturday from 4:00-6:00 at

Galaxy Arts. Billy is a gifted musician and a great teacher!  Drums are provided, and you will  need to pre-register
